Climbing Wall

The wall features more than 1,200 sq. ft. of climbing surface with dozens of routes including top rope, lead climbing, and bouldering. Routes are regularly updated so each visit offers new challenges. Whether you are new to climbing, training for fitness, or climbing with friends and family, the wall provides a fun and engaging experience.

We offer beginner classes, private lessons, and group instruction led by trained staff to help climbers learn safely and build confidence on the wall.

Climbing Wall Details

Climbing Wall Rules and Waiver

Participants must be at least 4 years old to use the climbing wall. Participants age 13 years or younger must be supervised by staff, parent/guardian or responsible adults aged 18 or older for all climbing activities. All climbing wall participants are expected to read, understand, and follow all climbing wall rules, policies, and staff instructions prior to participation. All participants must have a current climbing wall waiver on file before participating in any climbing wall activity, including climbing, bouldering, belaying, instruction, or staffed programs. Participants under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Please see the climbing schedule for program times and availability.

Climbers who have passed a belay test and received a Belay Card may utilize top ropes anytime the fitness center is open, provided that no scheduled climbing program is in session.

Personal climbing gear is required for independent climbing. Harnesses and belay devices and carabiners are available only during staffed programs such as classes and Hang Time. Climbing shoes are always available to use at the wall.

Please wash or sanitize your hands before and after climbing to help maintain a clean and safe environment.

Climbing Time Descriptions

OPEN CLIMB
During Open Climb, climbers may use the wall independently within the limits of their current certifications and demonstrated abilities. Climbers participating in rope climbing activities must have a current Belay Card visibly displayed on their harness while belaying. Climbers are responsible for providing and using appropriate equipment required for their activity. All climbing wall rules and safety procedures must always be followed.

Bouldering is allowed during Open Climb. Bouldering is climbing without ropes below the red bouldering line. Bouldering involves inherent fall risks, and use of an attentive spotter is strongly encouraged. Bouldering participants are responsible for assessing landing zones.

HANG TIME
This is a drop-in climbing session where anyone can try the wall even with no experience required. An instructor will be present to belay climbers. Harnesses and climbing shoes are available in limited quantities. See the climbing wall schedule for days and times.
