Logan Health Fitness Tennis Center offers four spacious and well-lit indoor courts for play and instruction in a controlled environment year-round. Courts are open during regular hours throughout the year. Courts are available by reservation.

Ball Machine
Our high-tech ball machine, The Playmate, is situated behind court 4. Remote control and instruction book are attached. Reservations are made with the front desk. The charge is court time plus $5 for members and $10 for non-members. Please pick up all balls and use the sweeper at the end of your session.
Court Reservation Policies
- Use of tennis courts requires an additional fee to regular membership dues. Member and non-member rates apply. Non-member court reservation fee includes full access to the fitness center.
- Court reservations must be made with the front desk, (406) 751-4100, option 2. Please limit the number of players to four per court. Member hosts must provide additional players names or populate online from the buddy list. Lessons are available and can be scheduled with the tennis pro’s at the tennis center, (406) 751- 4518.
- Member court fees may be charged to your member account or paid by check, cash, or credit card. Non-members and temporary members are required to prepay for court time and lessons at the time of booking and must have a credit card on file to secure their reservation.
Members please check in at the front desk using your membership card. Non-members please check in and sign in at the front desk. Get court assignments from the front desk at time of check-in. - Members may reserve a court up to three days in advance. Guest may reserve courts up to one day in advance.

Brad Knutson is originally from Billings, MT, and has been an RSPA Certified Professional for 10 years. He played tennis for Skyview High School and was a state doubles finalist both his junior and senior years. He went on to play for Montana State University Billings where he play the #3 singles and #1 doubles positions. NCAA Division II Championships 2011 | All Conference RMAC 2012. Brad graduated with a degree in Music Education in 2012. After graduating, Brad began his career teaching tennis professionally at the MSUB Tennis Bubble and the Elks Tennis Center. In 2016, he became the Head Tennis Professional at the Elks Tennis Center. In addition to teaching at the indoor club, Brad was a Recreation Specialist and the Director of Racquet and Paddle Sports for Billings Parks and Recreation. In 2018, he was the recipient of the USPTA Intermountain Star Award for his work introducing Tennis Is Elementary Programs in area elementary schools throughout Billings. Brad serves on the USTA Montana Board of Directors and chairs the Junior Tennis Committee. He is also the Montana Representative for the Junior Programs Committee of USTA Intermountain. Brad has a passion for coaching competitive juniors and growing tennis at a grass roots level. Brad continues to play competitively through tournaments in Montana and captains Montana’s 5.0 + Mens League team. Brad is very excited to bring his experience and passion for teaching tennis to the Logan Health Tennis Center.

Jeff Smith
RSPA Professional
Jeff Smith is a certified RSPA professional originally from Crane Lake, Minnesota who now resides in Whitefish, Montana. He played college tennis at Colby College in Waterville, Maine where he played #2 doubles and #5 singles. He also played #4 singles on the Intercollegiate Squash team. He began his career teaching tennis at junior and adult tennis camps on the East Coast. After serving as the Director of Tennis at an international junior tennis camp in England, he became a teaching pro at the Washington Golf & Country Club in Arlington, Virginia. After several years of teaching, he took a detour in financial services first at KPMG and then Wells Fargo as a Director of Internal Audit. He started teaching tennis again in June 2022 when he joined Logan Health Medical Fitness. When he is not on the courts, he is outside enjoying everything Montana has to offer.

Logan Health High Performance
The Logan High Performance Junior Tennis Program is designed for junior players taking their game to the next competitive level. These players have goals set around playing high level Junior Tournaments and College Tennis.
Strength and Agility Testing
- Administered by Logan Health physical therapist
- Focused around Metrics Found in Complete Strength & Condition for Tennis by Mark Kovacs, E, Paul Roetert, & Todd S. Ellenbecker
- Bi-annual retest within the program
Strength and Agility Program
- Led by Logan Health strength and conditioning coaches
- Twice a week in addition to on-court program
On Court Training
- Four and a half weekly hours of high performance coach-led group instruction
- Two additional weekly practice matches required
- Three or more required tournaments per six month season
