What is Pediatric Surgery?
Children are not just little adults. Pediatric surgeons have chosen to dedicate their entire practice to caring for children and their families, from birth through adolescence, by completing 5 years of training in general surgery and then advancing to an additional 2 year fellowship program focused on diseases and treatments specific to children.
Here at Logan Health Children’s hospital we are committed to child and family centered care. Our pediatric surgical team has chosen to live and work in the Flathead Valley, raising our families alongside the families we serve. We collaborate with other physicians, pharmacists, child life specialists, physical and occupational therapists and social workers dedicated to pediatric care to provide the best and most comprehensive surgical care available in the state of Montana.
