Logan Health offers Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) and Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) paid training programs to help you get a great start to your career in healthcare! These programs are taught by our credentialed nurse instructors with professional experience and an engaging curriculum.

CNA Trainee Program

Our CNA paid training program is designed to prepare you thoroughly for the Montana State CNA exam.

Upon successful completion of the state-written and skills test, you will earn your CNA certification and be eligible to join Logan Health’s Care team.

CNA students

Program Structure:

Two Weeks – Classroom (Didactic) & Skills Lab

Focus on core CNA skills, patient care fundamentals, and essential healthcare knowledge.

One Week – Clinical Rotations

Hands-on training at Logan Health facilities under the supervision of experienced clinical instructors.

Additional One Week – For Acute Care Units

Advanced training for Acute Care settings, including simulations and role-specific competencies.

Graduates of this program are well-prepared to work in high-demand healthcare settings like medical units, surgical units, transitional care, and long-term care with opportunities to grow within Logan Health.

Included in the Course:

  • Textbook for study and reference
  • Two pairs of scrubs provided

  • Must be 16 years of age or older to apply

CNA Trainee Program – Start Dates and Application Windows:

CNS Training

RMA Trainee Program

Our 120-hour RMA paid training program is designed to prepare you for the American Allied Health (AAH) RMA exam. RMAs work alongside our medical staff in ambulatory clinics, performing both clinical and administrative duties such as blood draws, taking vitals, rooming patients, documentation, and more.

Program Structure:

  • Two Weeks – Classroom (Didactic) & Skills Lab Training
  • One Week – Clinical Rotations with Clinic Orientation

Program Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Upon successful completion of the course, you’ll be prepared to take the RMA (AAH) exam and earn your certification.

RMA Training Schedule

Phlebotomy Program

Our 140-hour Phlebotomy paid training course is designed to teach the aspects of basic phlebotomy, including the collection of blood specimens and venipuncture. This program includes hands-on instruction, including the concepts of phlebotomy and infection control, legal issues in healthcare, introduction to human anatomy and physiology, phlebotomy equipment and supplies, and phlebotomy procedures. Successful completion of this course will be preparing students to take the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Phlebotomy Technician PBT exam, or the American Allied Health Exam, depending on your eligibility.

Phlebotomy classes are currently only for in-house Logan Health needs.
