What to Expect During Your Clinic-Based Video Visit

Your telehealth appointment will take place at one of our clinic locations, where you’ll connect virtually with a healthcare provider from another location.

Before Your Visit

• Please arrive at the clinic listed in your appointment information 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
• Call your doctor’s office if you need to reschedule your appointment.
• Check in at the front desk just as you would for an in-person visit.
• Bring a photo ID and your insurance card.
• The front desk will ask you to update any outdated paperwork.

During Your Visit

• A member of our clinical team will escort you to a private exam room.
• A nurse or medical assistant may review your medical history, current medications, allergies, and reason for your visit.
• Your vital signs (such as blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, weight, or other measurements) may be obtained before your appointment begins.
• Clinic staff will help connect you to your provider using the exam room computer.
• Your provider will meet with you virtually to discuss your health concerns, answer questions, and develop your care plan. If needed, clinic staff will be available to assist during your visit.

Billing Information

Since the appointment uses a clinic computer, your visit may include a facility fee in addition to your provider’s service fee. Your financial responsibility will depend on your insurance benefits.
