Biography

Norman M. Friedman, MD joined Logan Health Neurology in May 2025 as a neurologist specializing in general neurology. Originally from Akron, Ohio, Dr. Friedman has been practicing general neurology, vascular neurology, and sleep medicine since 2002. He earned his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), completed his internal medicine training at Mount Carmel Hospital in Columbus, and went on to complete a neurology residency at The Ohio State University. He is board certified in neurology, vascular neurology, and sleep medicine. Dr. Friedman is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. He is especially passionate about diagnosing and managing complex neurological cases and values the collaboration and camaraderie of working within a hospital team. His professional interests include general neurology and sleep medicine, and he is looking forward to bringing his expertise to patients in Kalispell. Outside of work, Dr. Friedman enjoys downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter, and jogging, biking, swimming and boating with family and friends in the summer.
