Endocrinologist Alison Schneider, MD, CCD, ECNU, joined Logan Health in September 2015. Dr. Schneider earned her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington. She completed both her residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at Fletcher Allen Health Care through the University of Vermont. She was a clinical instructor there, teaching internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism classes. Her professional practice began as an internal medicine primary caregiver at Porter Hospital in Middlebury, Vermont. In 2012 she accepted a position as lead physician and laboratory director for endocrinology at Intermountain Medical Group, Intermountain Healthcare in Ogden, Utah. Much of her practice has been focused on caring for patients with thyroid issues, but she also is experienced in caring for diabetes and adrenal, pituitary and osteoporosis issues. She and her husband, Kyle, and their son enjoy hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and other outdoor activities.
