Logan Health Rural Health Clinic – Conrad is pleased to welcome Behavioral Health Therapist Candidate, Jeanne Mitchell, MS, PCLC, to their medical staff. Jeanne joined Logan Health and began seeing patients of all ages in June 2024.
After being a caregiver for over 20 years, Jeanne later received her bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona and earned her Master of Science in Professional Counseling in 2022. Originally from Manteca, California, Jeanne moved to Butte, Montana to finish her practical in a school basic program. She is currently meeting the requirements to become a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in September 2024. Her passion of helping others stems from her own learning disability experiences. She incorporates successful techniques she has discovered that have improved both her and her client’s lives. Jeanne enjoys working with all ages and learning different tools that benefit her clients’ success.
Jeanne uses her creativity to integrate sensory integration therapy, drama therapy and art therapy as tools to help patients express themselves. Windrift Hill, Village Drug, Resurrected Thrift and other local businesses in Conrad have assisted Jeanne in providing sensory items, such as special stuffed animals, puppets and kinetic sand. The availably and generosity of Conrad’s local businesses do not go unnoticed in times like these, and their acts of kindness are helping others beyond their walls and into the lives of Jeanne’s patients.
Jeanne lives in Ledger, Montana. She enjoys making sensory toys for her clients, traveling, meeting new people, fishing, camping, gardening, and visiting her family and grandchildren.
