Local speech and swallowing services help patients stay safe, healthy and connected
More than 20% of individuals over the age of 50 experience dysphagia, or difficulty swallowing. Although dysphagia can occur at any age for a variety of reasons, age-related changes, neurological conditions, illness and injury can all affect the muscles involved in swallowing. When left untreated, swallowing difficulties can lead to significant health concerns including malnutrition, dehydration, aspiration (when food or liquid enters the lungs) and recurrent pneumonia.
Logan Health – Cut Bank donation helps restore meal services at Parkview Senior Center
Logan Health – Cut Bank is proud to support the Parkview Senior Center in Cut Bank with a donation of $7,695 for the purchase of a new commercial oven after the center’s previous oven unexpectedly stopped working in July 2026.
