Logan Health is proud to offer outpatient nutrition services with our expert Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) who are dedicated to helping you achieve your health goals. Nutrition plays a vital role in overall well-being, impacting everything from energy levels to chronic disease management. Our team is here to provide personalized guidance to get your nutrition on track, whether you’re managing a medical condition, looking to improve your diet, or seeking support for a healthier lifestyle.

Why See a Dietitian?

Our dietitians provide a nutritional assessment, education/counseling, meal planning, behavioral/lifestyle change support and goal setting to help with:

  • Diabetes and prediabetes
  • Weight management
  • Digestive conditions
  • Heart health (cholesterol and blood pressure)
  • Oncology/cancer
  • Eating disorders
  • Allergies
  • Sports performance

A Logan Health registered dietitian nutritionist (RD or RDN) will partner with you to develop a safe and realistic eating plan that you can stick with for the long haul. Only a registered dietitian nutritionist has completed multiple layers of education and training established by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics. All RDNs must:

  • Obtain a minimum graduate degree, which includes a specially designed, accredited nutrition curriculum.
  • Complete an extensive supervised program of practice at a health care facility, foodservice organization or community agency.
  • Pass a rigorous registration exam.
  • Maintain continuing education credits throughout their career.

Many RDNs also have specialized certifications, such as diabetes, pediatric, renal, oncology, sports or gerontological nutrition.
