Dr. Simpson joined Logan Health Digestive Center in April 2020. He came to the Flathead Valley from Tahlequah, Oklahoma where he served as Director of Endoscopy for Northeastern Health System and as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to this he practiced in the Good Shepherd Health System in northeast Texas where he served on the Board of Directors of the Good Shepherd Health System, Good Shepherd Medical Associates and Healthcare Partners of East Texas. Born in Louisville, Kentucky Dr. Simpson graduated from the University of Kentucky and received a graduate degree from the University of Louisville before entering the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He has been awarded Fellowship in the American College of Physicians and the American Gastroenterological Association. In addition to general gastroenterology, Dr. Simpson has professional interests in inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife Leslie and their five children, hiking, hunting, traveling and the arts.
