Vassilis Siomos, MD

Urologist Vassilis Siomos, MD, joined Logan Health in September 2015. He grew up in Naperville, IL and started working at the family restaurant when he was old enough to safely carry two water glasses to a table. When he wasn’t working, he played basketball and in the summer months he visited his grandmother in Greece. He completed his undergraduate studies in molecular biology and finance at Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois, and earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago – Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois. He was an active domestic and international medical volunteer during medical school and residency. Dr. Siomos completed his urologic residency at University of Colorado School of Medicine. During residency, he was recognized for his quality improvement projects that optimized postoperative care and medical specialty collaboration. He tailored his clinical focus during residency on robotics, pediatrics, and urethral surgery. Dr. Siomos is fluent in Greek and conversational in Spanish. He is learning Italian and the bouzouki instrument. He enjoys cooking with his family, making pizza, playing sports and drinking coffee.
