Dr. Timothy Joyce joined Logan Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in September 2017, bringing advanced training and a patient-centered approach to orthopedic care. Kalispell.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Joyce earned his Bachelor of Science from John Carroll University, followed by a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to attend medical school at the University of Louisville and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic, where he gained extensive experience in complex hip and knee reconstruction. To further specialize, Dr. Joyce completed the Otto E. Aufranc Adult Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA—one of the nation’s leading centers for orthopedic care. His training has equipped him with a diverse and comprehensive background, with a focus on primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty.
When possible, Dr. Joyce utilizes modernized techniques including direct anterior hip arthroplasty, muscle sparing total knee arthroplasty, and robotics.
Outside of the operating room, Dr. Joyce enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He’s an avid sports enthusiast who stays active through ice hockey, downhill skiing and mountain biking—activities that reflect his passion for movement and mobility, both personally and professionally.
