Accepting new patientsSteven R. Gard, MD, is a family medicine physician who joined Logan Health Primary Care – 160 Heritage Way in August 2025. Born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, he grew up surfing and spending time outdoors. His path in medicine took him from medical school in the Cayman Islands to residency in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After 35 years near the coast, Dr. Gard and his family moved to Kalispell to embrace mountain life. They now enjoy snowboarding, hiking, and exploring the outdoors together.
Dr. Gard focuses on improving the physical and functional health of his patients through healthy habits, including good nutrition and regular exercise. He aims to reduce the need for medication whenever possible and values building strong relationships with the people he cares for. Outside of work, he spends time adventuring with his wife and three children, restoring his 1957 Chris-Craft boat, and working on his 1991 Bronco.
