Philip Jaffe, MD, is a gastroenterologist with extensive experience in digestive health, clinical care and endoscopy. He serves as director of clinical and endoscopy services and brings more than three decades of experience to his practice.
A native of New York, Dr. Jaffe earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center in Tucson, where he also served as chief medical resident. He then completed a two-year fellowship in gastroenterology, followed by advanced training in endoscopic ultrasound at the University of Indiana School of Medicine in Indianapolis. Throughout his career, Dr. Jaffe has held numerous clinical, academic and leadership positions in gastroenterology and endoscopy. Most recently, he served as medical director of the Digestive Disease Center at Yale New Haven Medical Center’s Saint Raphael campus and as an assistant clinical professor at Yale School of Medicine.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Jaffe enjoys traveling, skiing, listening to music and spending time with his family.
