Monica Franklin, FNP-C

Monica Franklin, FNP-C, joined Logan Health in August 2021. Her decision to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner was guided by her love for the nursing profession. After working as a registered nurse in adult critical care for several years and seeing the same patients constantly in and out of the hospital, Monica felt that she needed to learn more about the healthcare system and the care that patients received outside of the hospital. She fell in love with primary care because it allowed her to help patients manage their health long-term and, hopefully, keep them out of the hospital. As a primary care provider, Monica takes the time to listen to her patients and to truly understand their unique needs—she wants every patient to feel comfortable and empowered to reach their health goals. While she loves that she gets to care for such a diverse population in the outpatient setting, Monica’s passion is for prevention of illness at any age and women’s health. Outside of the office, you’ll find Monica spending time with her husband and their three boys enjoying everyone’s favorite part of Montana, the great outdoors.
