Dr. Maria Selander joined the Logan Health Newman Center Adult team in September 2024. Originally from Canton, Michigan, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, followed by her medical degree at the University of Cincinnati. She then finished her residency at Wayne State/Detroit Medical Center in June 2024.
Dr. Selander is passionate about her work, especially the privilege of getting to know her patients and supporting them as they make positive changes in their lives. Her professional interests include mood disorders and trauma care. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, swimming, and baking.
