Marcus Wheeler, MD, is a pediatric neurologist with more than a decade of experience caring for children with a broad range of neurological conditions. He has a special interest in epilepsy and is committed to providing thoughtful, specialized care for young patients and their families.
A native of upstate New York, Dr. Wheeler earned his undergraduate degree in psychology and biochemistry from Syracuse University, graduating magna cum laude and receiving the university’s highest academic scholarship. He earned his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire. Dr. Wheeler completed a two-year pediatric residency at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, followed by a three-year pediatric neurology residency at the University of Colorado in Denver. Throughout his training, he further developed his expertise through research, curriculum development and educational presentations.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Wheeler enjoys playing soccer, skiing and other winter sports, acting in theatrical and film productions, reading and cooking. He is also proficient in German.
