Louis Ross, MD joined Logan Health Neurosurgery in June 2025. Dr. Ross specializes in neurosurgery, with expertise in degenerative and complex spine conditions, spinal deformities, trauma, and cranial surgery including brain tumors. Before joining Logan Health, he practiced in Billings, Montana, for seven years. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah, majoring in physics with a minor in biochemistry, graduating with honors and multiple scholarships. He earned his medical degree from the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University on a full-ride scholarship. He then completed both his neurosurgery residency and a fellowship in neurocritical care at the Cleveland Clinic, where he was recognized as Resident Teacher of the Year three times and received both the Program Director Award and a Humanitarian Award. Outside of work, Dr. Ross is an avid outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys mountain and road biking, trail running, open water swimming, kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, and both downhill and cross-country skiing. He also spends time woodworking.
