Laura Wharton, FNP-C

Laura Wharton, FNP-C, joined Logan Health in December 2017 as a hospitalist – a dedicated inpatient physician who works exclusively at the hospital. Laura completed her Bachelor of Science in critical care nursing from British Columbia Institute of Technology, Canada. She followed with a Master of Science degree in nursing with a family nurse practitioner specialty from Walden University in Baltimore, Maryland. Laura’s approach to patient care involves a holistic model to help maximize positive outcomes. She believes that patient education is a key component to prevention and wellness. Laura’s other professional interests include critical care, emergency and flight medicine. When Laura is not caring for patients, she enjoys spending her free time cycling, reading and spending time with her family.
