Kurt Hales, MD

Kurt A. Hales, MD, joined Logan Health in January 2022, practicing at Logan Health Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He specializes in fetal imaging, prenatal diagnosis, and complications of pregnancy both Obstetrical and Medical. His goal as a maternal-fetal medicine physician is to always prevent complications in pregnancy. Dr. Hales comes with much experience in supporting patients who have adverse outcomes in previous pregnancies, both medically and psychologically. Some of his professional interests are screening for congenital heart defects and prevention of preterm birth. When not in the clinic, Dr. Hales states that his “happy place” has always been in the mountains. He spends time relaxing in his off-the-grid log cabin that boarders the wilderness. He enjoys everything Montana has to offer: skiing, hiking, backpacking, cooking and is also an avid reader.
