Kira Kitchens, FNP-C

Kira Kitchens, FNP-C, joined Logan Health in November 2017 as a nurse practitioner at Logan Health Heart & Lung. Kira earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah in exercise physiology to coach triathletes. Realizing that she wanted to care for individuals on a more clinical level, she returned to her studies and earned an additional Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing followed by a doctorate of nursing from Montana State University. Kira has a varied background caring for critically-ill patients and their families in university-based intensive care units and small community hospitals. From these experiences, she has a great appreciation for human resilience and believes strongly in a positive patient-provider relationship. When she is not helping patients, Kira enjoys snow skiing, trail running and spending time with her two crazy canine companions.
