Kelly Schmidt, MD

Kelly Schmidt, MD, is a pediatric neurosurgeon with extensive training in the care of children with neurological and neurosurgical conditions. She brings more than eight years of experience to her practice and is dedicated to expanding access to specialized pediatric neurosurgical care for children in northwest Montana.

Dr. Schmidt earned her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and completed her residency and fellowship training at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. With a particular interest in traumatic brain injuries, Dr. Schmidt also contributes her expertise to concussion education and prevention efforts for teachers, parents, coaches and student athletes.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Schmidt enjoys skiing, playing soccer and cheering on the Denver Broncos.
