Accepting new patientsJoan Driscoll, RN, MSN, APRN, rejoined Logan Health in May 2025 as a surgical oncology nurse practitioner. She had previously retired in 2022 from the organization but returned on a part-time basis to assist in the care of oncology patients. Prior to that, she had worked with Logan Health since April 1994, when she started as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) and continued to work through her nursing and nurse practitioner training. She went on to become the organization’s first hospitalist nurse practitioner before moving to the surgical oncology world.
Joan earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Salish Kootenai College and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. She later graduated from Georgetown University with a Master of Science in Nursing, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Outside of work, Joan enjoys hanging out with her family, gardening, reading, biking and spending time at the lake.
