Jeffrey Watkins, MD

Dr. Jeffrey Watkins joined Logan Health in July 2022, bringing over 30 years of experience in cardiology to Logan Health Heart & Lung. He has practiced invasive and interventional cardiology since 1990 in various locations across the country. Dr. Watkins came to Kalispell in 2021 with the intention of retiring from his previous practice at Sanford Bemidji, where he started their hospital’s cardiology program in 2011. Dr. Watkins earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, where he later completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Chief Residency. He went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force from 1983 to 1990, completing his Cardiology Fellowship at the Letterman Army Medical Center. Outside of work, Dr. Watkins enjoys tinkering at home, playing guitar and photography.
