Ivory Drendel, MD, is a family medicine physician with extensive experience caring for patients in rural communities. Originally from rural Wyoming, she brings a strong understanding of the unique health care needs of rural patients and families.
Dr. Drendel earned her degree in cell biology and neuroscience with highest honors from Montana State University in Bozeman. She attended the University of Washington School of Medicine through the WWAMI Regional Medical Education Program, studying in Laramie, Wyoming, and Seattle, Washington. She completed her family medicine residency at the Fort Collins Family Medicine Residency in Colorado in 2011. Before moving to Montana, Dr. Drendel practiced family medicine in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and served as adjunct clinical faculty for the University of Wyoming. She is passionate about providing comprehensive, relationship-based care to patients and families throughout their lives.
Outside of work, Dr. Drendel enjoys skiing, camping, rafting, hiking, fly-fishing and running. She also enjoys reading classic literature and contemporary novels and spending time with her husband and daughter.
