Desiree Caro, FNP-C

Desiree Caro, FNP-C, joined Logan Health Heart & Lung in 2013, taking an RN position in the intermediate care unit for cardiology patients. Her skill approach is patient centered and collaborative. She enjoys developing a creative treatment plan with her patients and developing lasting relationships on the basis of honesty from the very first meeting. Desiree received her bachelor of science in health science from California State University in Fullerton in 2008, and her bachelor of science in nursing from Western Governor’s University in 2012, and her master of science in nursing, family nurse practitioner specialty track from Chamberlain University in 2018. She completed her residency with a 10-month clinical rotation at Big Sky Family Medicine in Kalispell and is certified in family practice by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her professional interests are illness prevention and encouraging self-care through patient education. Outside of work, Desiree enjoys spending time with her husband and children, baking, and gardening.
