Derek Berglund, MD

Derek Berglund, MD, joined Logan Health’s surgical team in September 2024 as a specialist in minimally invasive foregut and hernia surgery . Dr. Berglund earned his undergraduate degree from Concordia College in Minnesota and his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He completed his surgery residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA and his fellowship in advanced GI minimally invasive surgery/bariatrics/foregut from Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Outside of work, Dr. Berglund enjoys skiing, mountain biking, hunting and playing the guitar.
