Daniel Peters, MD, joined Logan Health in May 2025 as a specialist in infectious disease. He earned his medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and completed the Fifth Pathway program through New York Medical College in 2000. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach in 2003, followed by a fellowship in infectious diseases at the University of Miami School of Medicine in 2005. Originally from North Palm Beach, Florida, Dr. Peters practiced in northern Palm Beach County for nearly two decades before joining Logan Health. In 2012, he was honored as Physician of the Year at Jupiter Medical Center.
Dr. Peters’ professional interests include health promotion and disease prevention. He is passionate about building strong connections with his patients and finds the most rewarding part of his work is helping them recover and return to health.
