Christopher Johnson, MD

Anesthesiologist Christopher Johnson, MD, joined the active medical staff of Logan Health in July 2013 as a member of the practice group Northern Rockies Anesthesia Consultants. Dr. Johnson pursued his schooling in the nation’s Midwest, earning his undergraduate degree in management information systems from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. His doctorate of medicine came from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine in Vermillion, South Dakota. He completed his four-year anesthesia residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. Dr. Johnson distinguished himself during his tenure with Anesthesia Associates of Great Falls, as he was appointed chair of the Department of Anesthesia for Benefis Hospitals and Clinics. He has a professional interest in cardiovascular anesthesia, and is a testamur of the National Board of Echocardiography, in advanced perioperative transesophageal echocardiography. Away from the operating room, Dr. Johnson, an instrument-rated private pilot, enjoys aviation, fishing, water sports, camping and skiing.
