Austin Johnston, DO, joined the Logan Health Neuroscience and Spine team in August 2017. Dr. Johnston earned his medical degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Subsequently, he went on to complete his residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Johnston has extensive background of the nervous and musculoskeletal systems. He performs electrodiagnostic testing for disorders of the peripheral nervous system, botulinum toxin injections for spasticity, and ultrasound guided injections. When working with patients, he aims to maximize mobility and independence using his background in osteopathic medicine and principles. Away from the office, Dr. Johnston enjoys volunteering with DREAM Adaptive, training in martial arts, and enjoying all things outdoors with his family.
