Dr. Amy McKerrow grew up in Overland Park, Kansas, and received her bachelor’s degree at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1991. She received her doctor of medicine degree from University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City, Kansas in 1995. She was commissioned an an active member of the United States Armed Forces Medical Corps in 1991 and served until 2005 while continuing her pursuit in the medical field. In 1999 she went on a urologic surgical mission to Haiti. She served as a urologist at Elmendor Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska from 2001 through 2005. She relocated to Kalispell in 2005 from Anchorage, Alaska. Dr. McKerrow has been a licensed Montana physician and surgeon since 2005, and a board certified member of the American Board of Urology since 2003. She is also a current member of the American Urological Association, Western Section of the American Urological Association, Women In Urology Member, and Society of Government Service Urologist’s member. In Dr. McKerrow’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, reading, volunteering at her church, traveling, skiing and enjoying the great Montana outdoors.
