Logan Health – Shelby strengthens local care with addition of new family medicine physician
Logan Health – Shelby is pleased to welcome Paloma Lemke, MD, to its medical staff as a primary care family medicine physician at Logan Health Clinic – Shelby, beginning September 14, 2026.
Eat well – practice food safety
For many, a fresh garden salad sounds like the perfect meal on a hot summer day. However, the recent outbreak of the food illness cyclospora, thought to be sourced from iceberg lettuce, is an important reminder of the risks associated with improper food preparation and storage. Foodborne illnesses can stem from many sources, especially in the summer when temperatures rise and picnics abound.
Logan Health – Chester Assisted Living receives garden bed donation
A beautiful garden bed created from a grain bin has been donated to Logan Health – Chester Assisted Living in a joint effort by a couple of community members. Thank you to Greg Woods and Paul Wolery.
