Registration for the Cedar Creek Marathon is now open

Registration is now open for Logan Health’s second annual Cedar Creek Marathon set for Saturday, September 23, 2023. Participants can register online for the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k events now through the day of the event.

“Sign up now to secure your spot in this one-of-a-kind race featuring the North Fork in all of its beauty,” says Krista Rufenach, event coordinator for the Logan Health Fitness Center. “The Full Marathon course offers scenic views of Glacier National Park and the Flathead River. The first 6+ miles are gravel to give your knees a break while your eyes soak in the amazing beauty you are running along. All distances of this race get to enjoy the beauty whether it be on the gravel, trail or pavement along the North Fork Road. This course will leave you breathless in more ways than one!”

The Full Marathon run begins at Big Creek Campground and finishes at The COOP in Columbia Falls. The marathon and Half Marathon are USATF Certified Courses and give runners a scenic view of Glacier National Park, Flathead River and Cedar Creek.

“This event showcases all the Flathead Valley has to offer from our scenic trails to our fantastic lodging and restaurants,” says Rufenach. “Logan Health has collaborated with the Glacier Conservancy, and a portion of all the race proceeds will go to the Glacier Conservancy and therefore back into our Parks and other wonderful programs the Conservancy funds.”

The Cedar Creek Marathon is a premier running event in the Flathead Valley that attracts participants locally and from across the North West region. Participants can save from early-bird registration happening now at www.logan.org/cedarcreekmarathon.
