Logan Health is proud to announce the addition of orthopedic services in Cut Bank and Shelby beginning May 15, 2025. Family nurse practitioner and orthopedic specialist, John Willcut, FNP-C, is now accepting orthopedic patients of all ages at Logan Health – Shelby and Logan Health – Cut Bank.

“We are excited to expand the offering of specialty care in our community,” said Vicki Newmiller, President of Logan Health – Shelby and Conrad. “Expanding access to exceptional providers is an important strategic goal and having an orthopedic specialist in Shelby will help us meet the needs in our community.”
Orthopedic services will include treatment of pain and injury of joints, bones and muscles, plus preventive care. Onsite physical and occupational therapy is available at both hospitals for close-to-home rehabilitation services.

Willcut attended Flathead Valley Community College and graduated with his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in nursing from Montana State University. He has surgical and family practice experience. He has been working at Logan Health Orthopedics since May 2016. Away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, hiking and skiing.
“I previously provided outreach care in Polson and Libby. I enjoy meeting patients in their hometown and getting to know them to better care for their specific orthopedic needs to help get them to the lifestyle they desire,” said John Willcut. “I am excited to come to the Hi-Line which will save patients travel time, as well.”
