On Friday, June 21 at 10 a.m., staff from cancer services at Logan Health will receive a donation of blankets and other items from Don K Subaru. Media are invited to the presentation in the lobby of The Rock at 350 Heritage Way, where staff will receive the items and thank Don K Subaru.

The Logan Health Hematology/Oncology Infusion Center is a calming and comfortable space where patients receive treatment for various types of cancer. Every day 45 to 60 patients show up for treatment, with some patients traveling from Browning, Eureka, Polson, Ronan, and beyond. It is common for patients to feel both isolated and uncomfortable when receiving cancer treatment. Blankets such as these are very appreciated, as they provide patients with warmth, comfort, and the knowledge that someone cares about their journey into healing.

These generous gifts will be given to cancer patients and their families as part of Subaru’s collaboration with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® for the Subaru Loves to Care® initiative.
