The Logan Health Foundation is honored to once again be a participating nonprofit in the Whitefish Community Foundation’s Great Fish Community Challenge, a celebrated annual giving campaign that brings the Flathead Valley together in support of local nonprofits. This year’s Challenge will run from August 12 to September 12, with a record 85 participating nonprofits dedicated to strengthening the community through programs in youth development, conservation, the arts, food security, mental health, and more.

Community members are invited to help kick off the giving season at the Great Fish Launch Party on Tuesday, August 12 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Glacier Bank Park, home of the Range Riders. Attendees can enjoy free pizza and beverages, learn more about participating nonprofits, and celebrate the spirit of giving that makes the Flathead Valley so special.

This is a great opportunity to engage with the community and help us spread the word about an important initiative. Your presence makes a difference – in fact, each attendee receives a ticket with an opportunity to help our Foundation win one of five $1,000 grants for our initiative.

This year, we’re raising funds to transform an exam room in the Whitefish Emergency Department to create a safer environment for patients and our Logan Health team during behavioral health crises. Any funds raised beyond our goal will be directed to Logan Health – Whitefish’s permanent endowment at the Whitefish Community Foundation.
