The joyous spirit of the holiday season filled the hospital halls this December as young patients at Logan Health Children’s created holiday memories with their families. Santa Claus visited the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where families had a complimentary photoshoot and received their newborn’s very first photos with Santa. He then made his way to the Pediatric unit to visit young patients needing some extra holiday cheer. Santa also made his appearance at the third-annual Sensory Friendly Santa sponsored by Whitefish Credit Union and hosted by Logan Health Children’s. At this event, children with sensory sensitivities told Santa their Christmas wishes at their own pace and comfort level, enjoying the experience without the stressors of long lines, bright lights and loud noises.

The festivities continued through December as parents of hospitalized children were invited to shop at Logan Health Children’s 6th annual Toy Box and select gifts at no cost for all of their children. This event, presented by Whitefish Credit Union, was the heartfelt culmination of Christmas spirit, showing the community’s abundant generosity and bringing joy to children and their families.
