Joshua Krass, DO, joined the surgical team at Logan Health Neuroscience & Spine in July 2013, bringing with him a wealth of training in both cranial and spine surgery. A Texas native, Dr. Krass carried out his undergraduate studies at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, and his medical school coursework at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his osteopathic internship and residency through Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan, and his neurosurgery residency through Michigan State University at St. John Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan. Dr. Krass was awarded two fellowships – the first in minimally invasive endoscopic brain and skull base surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College Department of Neurological Surgery, and the most recent in skull base and cerebrovascular surgery at University of California, Irvine, Department of Neurological Surgery. His wife, Lauren, works with neurosurgical billing and coding. Together they enjoy spending time outdoors, fishing and hiking with their pet Husky.
