Jessica Christensen, MCMSc, PA-C, ATC, joined the Logan Health team in November 2016. She helps care for patients at Logan Health Children's Specialists. Jessica grew up in Plains, Montana, and graduated with a degree in athletic training from the University of Montana. After her undergraduate completion, she worked as a certified athletic trainer for four years at Hamilton High School and Hamilton Physical Therapy. She participated in local government as the vice president of the Montana Athletic Trainers’ Association for multiple years and continues to be an active member on the public relations committee. Jessica then attended physician assistant school at Barry University’s satellite campus in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where she and her husband embraced the cultural experiences and adventures that living in the Caribbean had to offer. To meet her clinical elective, she returned to Montana to gain experience in the field of neurosurgery and subsequently obtained her master’s degree from Barry University in the field of medical clinical science. She returned to Kalispell to be the inaugural graduate of Logan Health’s fellowship for advanced practice providers. After completing the fellowship in neurosurgery, Jessica joined the neurosurgical team as a full-time advanced practice provider. In her leisure time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her dogs as she is a foster home for rescue boxers. She enjoys snowboarding in the winter and hiking in the summer.
