Brian Bost, MD, MPH, joined the Logan Health team in June 2020. Dr. Bost is a pediatric hospitalist caring for patients from infancy to 18 years of age at Logan Health Children's and is part of its team of more than 40 pediatric specialists. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Colorado in Denver, then went on to The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland to complete his medical degree. He completed his residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA while spending an extra year in Johannesburg South Africa. After completion, Dr. Bost went to the University of Massachusetts to complete his Masters of Public Health (MPH) degree. He is board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics and has extensive knowledge in complex medical issues as well as helping pediatric patients with chronic medical conditions transition to adult specialists. Dr. Bost spends time yearly volunteering in developing countries, usually teaching the providers in rural areas how to improve their skills. When with his patients, Dr. Bost strives to educate his patients along the way while building connections. Outside of work, Dr. Bost enjoys spending time with his two Dobermans, doing global health work, and traveling.
