Our psychiatric program is carried out during a short-term stay. It is designed to help people with emotional and psychiatric problems stabilize, receive appropriate medications if needed, learn healthy coping skills and develop effective plans for successful transition back to their communities.

The program includes:
  • Daily meetings with a psychiatrist
  • An assigned counselor
  • Chemical dependency evaluation, if needed
  • Family meetings as indicated
  • Therapeutic services
  • After-care coordination

Inpatient Chemical Dependency

Logan Health Behavioral Health provides professional referred 24-hour medically monitored detoxification services.

For individuals who are admitted for medically monitored detoxification, services include:
  • Daily visits by a medical physician
  • Around-the-clock nursing monitoring
  • Medication administration by physician order
  • Full therapeutic services, as tolerated by the patient
  • ASAM Level 3.7 (medically monitored intensive inpatient services, as defined by the American Society of Addiction Medicine)

Co-Occurring Disorders

We provide treatment for co-occurring disorders to address both psychological/emotional and chemical dependency issues concurrently. Our staff helps patients identify the interdependent relationships between their mental health and chemical dependency issues.

Adolescents

The adolescent program is conducted in a separate wing of the treatment center from adults. It is designed to assess, stabilize and coordinate ongoing care for adolescents in crisis and their families. Simultaneous capability and case coordination help families, agencies and placements continue ongoing care of the child.
