Volunteering

Volunteer at Logan Health

For more than 50 years, our volunteers have played a crucial role in helping make patients' stays here as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Today more than 135 active volunteers donate more than 30,000 hours annually.

Among our many services, Logan Health volunteers staff the information desks, carry interdepartmental messages and mail, provide information to the waiting friends and family of surgery patients, conduct tours of the hospital, visit with patients at the cancer center, staff an attractive gift shop, assemble all patient chart forms for distribution to the nursing units, and take magazines to patients, as well as assist in departments such as diabetes education, medical records, print shop, public relations, human resources, medical library, education, materials management and nutrition services.

To be a part of the rewarding volunteer experience at Logan Health, contact the Volunteer Services office at (406) 752-1781 or [email protected].

Volunteer at Hospice

Home Options welcomes the support of community volunteers. Volunteers are fundamental to the hospice concept and assist with many aspects of the program. Volunteers serve as companions to caregivers after the death of a loved one; help support the bereaved during the first year of recovery; and share hobbies, offer companionship, listen, run errands, read, complete projects, and provide caregiver support and respite.

For more information about Home Options volunteer opportunities, call (406) 751-4200.
