Logan Health – Cut Bank hosted its annual health and safety fair on Friday, June 13, at the Cut Bank City Park. Over 175 attendees had the opportunity to visit about 15 booths offered by various health and wellness organizations for screenings and activities, and to learn more about available local resources for kids and families.
Live demonstrations from Border Patrol and Glacier County Library offered hands-on and interactive learning experiences. A walk-through inflatable colon was another highlight, offering an engaging look at the importance of screenings like colonoscopies. Attendees lined up for free screenings, such as blood pressure screenings by Logan Health Rural Health Clinic – Cut Bank, and A1C and body composition screenings by Glacier Community Health Center.
With assistance from members of the Cut Bank cross country team, a one-mile walk/run kicked off the health fair. The route began and looped around the park and track, ending back at the starting line. Glacier Acai gift certificates were awarded to the first-place finishers.
During the event, prizes were announced, including several bicycles of all sizes donated by Logan Health School-Based Health Clinic in Cut Bank.
The collaboration between local organizations and the strong presence of community members truly reflected the spirit of the event. We are especially grateful to our community partners and Logan Health employee volunteers, whose continued support drives our mission to build healthier lives and stronger communities.
