Logan Health offers Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) and Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) paid training programs to help you get a great start to your career in health care! These programs are taught by our credentialed nurse instructors with professional experience and an engaging curriculum.

CNA Trainee Program

Our CNA paid training program is designed to prepare you thoroughly for the Montana State CNA exam.

Upon successful completion of the state-written and skills test, you will earn your CNA certification and be eligible to join Logan Health’s Care team.

CNA students

Program Structure:

Two Weeks – Classroom (Didactic) & Skills Lab

Focus on core CNA skills, patient care fundamentals, and essential healthcare knowledge.

One Week – Clinical Rotations

Hands-on training at Logan Health facilities under the supervision of experienced clinical instructors.

Additional One Week – For Acute Care Units

Advanced training for Acute Care settings, including simulations and role-specific competencies.

Graduates of this program are well-prepared to work in high-demand healthcare settings like medical units, surgical units, transitional care, and long-term care with opportunities to grow within Logan Health.

Included in the Course:

  • Textbook for study and reference
  • Two pairs of scrubs provided

Program Requirements:

  • Must be 16 years of age or older to apply

RMA Trainee Program

Logan Health’s 120-hour Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Training Program is designed for newly hired Medical Assistants who are joining Logan Health and need comprehensive clinical training to step confidently into their roles. This program fully prepares participants for the American Allied Health (AAH) RMA certification exam.
 
RMAs are essential members of our ambulatory clinic teams, working closely with providers and clinical staff to support patient care and daily clinic operations. Typical responsibilities include taking vitals, rooming patients, blood draws, patient communication, documentation, and other hands-on clinical and administrative tasks.
 

Program Benefits:

This program is ideal for individuals beginning or advancing a career in healthcare, especially those with previous patient-facing experience such as CNA, caregiver, EMT, or similar roles. Successful RMAs are compassionate, detail-oriented, strong communicators, and able to thrive in fast-paced clinical settings.

Phlebotomy Program

Our 140-hour Phlebotomy paid training course is designed to teach the aspects of basic phlebotomy, including the collection of blood specimens and venipuncture. This program includes hands-on instruction, including the concepts of phlebotomy and infection control, legal issues in healthcare, introduction to human anatomy and physiology, phlebotomy equipment and supplies, and phlebotomy procedures. Successful completion of this course will be preparing students to take the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Phlebotomy Technician PBT exam, or the American Allied Health Exam, depending on your eligibility.

Phlebotomy classes are currently only for in-house Logan Health needs.
