Logan Health is pleased to welcome Lance L. Ercanbrack, MD, to its medical staff. Dr. Ercanbrack joined Logan Health on June 29, 2026, providing general surgery services at Logan Health – Shelby, with outreach services available at Logan Health – Cut Bank.
With 30 years of experience, Dr. Ercanbrack offers a broad range of general surgery procedures, including hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, colon procedures and endoscopy services to support the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal conditions. He is board certified by the American Board of General Surgery.
Originally from Dubois, Idaho, Dr. Ercanbrack earned his medical degree from Chicago Medical School and completed his residency at Oregon Health & Science University, where he received a Department of Surgery residency teaching award. He began his surgical career in 1996 at St. Benedict’s Hospital in Jerome, Idaho, and most recently served the community of Libby, Montana for nearly three decades.
Dr. Ercanbrack brings a strong commitment to expanding access to high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the region.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Ercanbrack enjoys horseback trail riding, hunting, fishing, golfing and camping with his family. He and his wife, Lora, have been married for 42 years and have two sons and one granddaughter.
