Logan Health – Conrad hosted its annual community health fair on Thursday, October 2 at the Conrad LDS Church. The free event welcomed community members to explore a wide range of health and wellness, aging, safety and preventive care services. Flu shots were provided by the Pondera County Health Department and Logan Health offered annual wellness lab draws.
Guests were greeted by staff from Logan Health – Conrad and over a dozen local health and safety organizations. Interactive demonstrations helped create a welcoming, informative environment. One of the most popular attractions was the Mega Brain, an inflatable walk-through exhibit that educated visitors of all ages on brain function, substance use and healthy lifestyle choices.
Conrad High School students also participated, gaining exposure to careers in health care and supporting the event throughout the day.
If you missed the fair and would like more information on flu shots, call Logan Health Rural Health Clinic – Conrad at (406) 271-3231. For annual wellness labs (formerly birthday labs), please contact the hospital at (406) 271-3211.
Thank you to all the vendors, partners, students and Logan Health staff who made this event a success. To participate in next year’s health fair, call Logan Health – Conrad. We look forward to seeing you next year!
