Addie Richman of Shelby High SchoolLogan Health has recognized Addison Richman, a standout senior at Shelby High School, as the latest recipient of the Winslow Nichols Leadership Award. The announcement came as a surprise during Richman’s senior business class, celebrating her exceptional leadership and dedication to academics and community service.

“Addie shows compassion to all of her peers and maintains positive relationships with school staff, who hold her in high regard,” said Ronnie Watterud, Shelby Junior/Senior High School Counselor. “Her organization, communication and time management skills make her a positive leader among her peers in all areas.”

Richman serves as senior class president, is a member of the National Honor Society, and ranks at the top of her class with a rigorous academic schedule that includes five advanced placement courses and six dual-credit college classes. Beyond academics, she is a three-sport athlete, a BPA Leadership Conference national qualifier, and actively works as a lifeguard, babysitter and teacher’s aide.

Her commitment to community shines through more than 100 volunteer hours, supporting youth sports programs, local events, and other enrichment activities.

Logan Health selects one student quarterly from Glacier, Pondera, Liberty, Hill and Toole Counties based on academic performance, character, citizenship and leadership. Each recipient receives $250 to donate to a school organization of their choice. Richman has chosen to contribute her award to the Shelby High School Student Council.
