Timothy Stidham, MD, joined the Logan Health family in August 2018. Dr. Stidham is a critical care physician in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) at Logan Health Children’s and is part of its team of more than 40 pediatric specialists. For his undergraduate work, Dr. Stidham studied microbiology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and subsequently earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee, Memphis. Adding to his training, he completed a medical doctorate internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, The Children’s Hospital in Aurora, Colorado, followed by a fellowship in pediatric critical care in the same location. Dr. Stidham’s specialized background in pediatrics includes practice at a high-volume and high-complexity care center where he helped to create a pediatric kidney injury and disease stewardship (PKIDS) program, receiving additional training in quality improvement, having completed a year-long specialized training at the University of Colorado’s Institute of Healthcare Quality, Safety and Efficiency (IHQSE) program. His program-planning background and quality improvement expertise will be beneficial to the expanding pediatric program at KRH. Dr. Stidham recognizes the delicate and humanistic side of medical crises involving both children and parents. His goal is to offer compassionate care and quality communication to help families better navigate and make sound decisions regarding their child’s care. When he’s not treating patients, you can find Dr. Stidham enjoying all aspects of Montana with his wife and three children, doing anything outdoors but especially playing golf or hiking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
