Biography

Tessa Winterton, MD, is an OB/GYN physician who provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care. She joined the medical staff in 2025 and brings a diverse background in military medicine and women’s health.

Dr. Winterton earned her medical degree from the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine in 2014 and completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Kansas in Wichita. Before moving to the Flathead Valley in 2022, she served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, practicing at the Medical Group in Misawa, Japan, and Wright-Patterson Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Winterton is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care to women throughout every stage of life.

Outside of work, Dr. Winterton enjoys spending time with her children and exploring the outdoors. Her favorite activities include hiking, fishing and downhill skiing. She also enjoys reading and traveling.
